Claire and Danny’s winter wedding took place at Eastington Park, a beautiful manor house set in stunning countryside. The couple chose a dark green and orange colour palette for their décor and florals, and we settled on soft, natural tones for Claire’s makeup.
The Bride’s Natural, Glowy Wedding Makeup
‘I wanted makeup that would enhance my features without looking too overdone. I was relaxed about colours and style, choosing to be directed by Amelia based on her experience and my face! She did an amazing job.’
Claire has beautiful skin which served as a great base for natural, glowy makeup. I mostly used Charlotte Tilbury products to create this look, starting with the Magic Cream to prep the complexion. As we wanted light coverage, I opted to use the Light Wonder Skin Tint. Sadly, this has been discontinued, but as a die-hard fan I bulk bought a few of my most used shades.
For soft sultry eyes I used the Mario Master Matte Palette and added some individual lashes. Then I went back in with Lovegasm cheek palette for a little pop of colour and glow. I finished the look with Dancefloor Princess on the lips.
The Bride’s Wedding Hair
Claire had a clear vision for her hair. She attended her bridal trial armed with inspiration photos which is always encouraged! Luckily, the length of her hair was perfect for creating the twisted high updo she wanted.
Texture Powder combined with Colour Wow Style on Steroids are my go-to products to create this sort of style. As we wanted to attach her long veil underneath, I needed to make sure we had a good base to secure it to without altering the overall look. I love how it turned out!
