If you follow me on social media, you might already know how much I love a beauty treatment (not to mention the odd tweakment – I’m having my lips done again later today!) If you share my passion for these things, there’s no better time to invest than in the run-up to your wedding.

The right treatment, delivered by an expert, can massively boost your confidence. I believe you’re beautiful just as you are, but if there’s something you don’t love about your appearance, there’s probably a treatment that will help. Sometimes, a little TLC is all it takes to feel better.

So, after extensive research, here’s what I’d encourage you to spend your money on. In fact, you should probably go ahead and add these treatments to the wedding budget now!

The Best Pre-Wedding Beauty Treatments for Brides

1. HydraFacial

Without a doubt, if you treat yourself to one thing before your wedding, it has to be a HydraFacial. I cannot recommend this treatment enough. It exfoliates to remove dead skin cells, vacuums out your pores to banish blackheads and impurities, then infuses your skin with antioxidants and other good stuff. It leaves your complexion looking and feeling so good, creating the perfect base for your wedding makeup.

Speak to your beauty therapist about the best time to have your facial before the wedding as it may depend on your skin type.

2. Professional Eyebrow Shaping

Your eyebrows give shape and definition to your face and make a massive difference to your makeup. I’m not saying you need a full brow overhaul. Even just a little tidy up will have an impact.

Threading can be great for this, but it can be painful. Waxing is another excellent option. Do not go to someone new immediately before your wedding. I recommend finding someone who can do a few appointments in the months beforehand, so they understand the look you’re after and that it’s for your wedding day. Make sure your final appointment is at least three days before the wedding and always follow any aftercare advice.

3. Teeth Whitening

I’m not suggesting you fly to Turkey for veneers, but having a pearly white smile on your wedding day, when your cheeks will hurt from grinning so much, could never be a bad thing.

Teeth whitening can take a few weeks, so if budget allows, see your dentist. At the very least, book in for a pre-wedding clean and polish.

If you’re after something a little more DIY, I’ve been using Marvis Toothpaste to keep my teeth white and I noticed a real difference after just one brush. You know I wouldn’t recommend anything I haven’t used myself. It’s available via Look Fantastic here. Don’t forget you can use my code, LFTFAmeliaCarmela, to receive a discount.
